Website Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using this website or placing an order with SolidHauz.

By accessing this website or submitting payment for any product offered by SolidHauz, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website.

SolidHauz manufactures custom cabinetry and related products. All communications regarding orders, warranty claims, discrepancies, or customer service must be submitted in writing via email at info@solidhauz.com.

Products shown on this website, including images, samples, colors, laminates, veneers, painted surfaces, and other materials represent a close approximation of the final product. Because cabinetry materials include natural wood products, laminates, and manufactured finishes, slight variations in color, grain, texture, and sheen may occur. These variations are normal and shall not be considered defects.

Unless otherwise specified in writing, finished end panels may be required to cover exposed cabinet sides. Cabinet sides not intended to be visible after installation may display interior finishes or construction features typical of cabinet manufacturing. Knobs, pulls, and decorative handles are not included unless explicitly listed in the order. Cabinet doors and drawer fronts are not drilled for handles unless specified.

Payment for orders placed through the SolidHauz website is required in full at the time the order is submitted. Because all products are custom manufactured specifically for each order, once production begins the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Lead times provided on the website are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Production times may vary depending on material availability, order complexity, production capacity, and logistics conditions.

Large orders may be shipped via freight carriers and typically include curbside delivery only. Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible and for inspecting shipments immediately upon arrival. Any damage must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours.

SolidHauz warrants that its cabinetry products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential interior use for five (5) years from the date of purchase for the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, environmental conditions, moisture exposure, structural movement, or normal wear and tear.

SolidHauz shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or installation of its products.

All website content including text, graphics, renderings, and images are the property of SolidHauz and may not be reproduced without written permission.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Sales & Manufacturing Terms

These Sales and Manufacturing Terms apply to all cabinetry manufactured and supplied by SolidHauz. By placing an order, approving drawings, or submitting payment, the customer agrees to these terms.

SolidHauz manufactures custom cabinetry based strictly on the specifications entered by the customer through the ordering system. SolidHauz does not verify field measurements, appliance dimensions, or jobsite conditions. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all dimensions, cabinet sizes, and layout specifications entered into the system are accurate and suitable for their installation space.

After an order is placed, SolidHauz will send an order confirmation summarizing the cabinet specifications. Customers have twenty-four (24) hours to review the order confirmation and request corrections via email. If no changes are requested within this review period, the order will be considered fully confirmed and approved for production.

Cabinet Manufacturing Tolerances — SolidHauz cabinets are manufactured using CNC equipment and industry standard cabinetmaking processes. Dimensional tolerances of approximately 1/16 inch to 3/16 inch may occur and are considered normal within the cabinetry industry. These tolerances are not considered manufacturing defects.

CNC Machining Variations — Cabinet components are precision cut and drilled using CNC equipment. Due to part size and hold-down limitations during machining, drilled holes may vary slightly in alignment. In some cases, hole placement may vary by as much as 1/4 inch. Minor adjustments during assembly are normal and expected.

Cabinet Case Materials — Cabinet cases are typically constructed using grey melamine over plywood core. Minor blemishes, scratches, dents, or handling marks may occur during manufacturing or shipping. Cosmetic imperfections on surfaces normally concealed during installation are considered acceptable. Minor scratches or marks on interior cabinet surfaces that do not affect structural integrity or function are also considered normal and are not considered defects.

Industry Quality Standard — Minor cosmetic variations, machining tolerances, alignment adjustments, and material inconsistencies that do not affect structural integrity or visible finished surfaces shall be considered acceptable and are not covered under warranty.

Batch Variation — Materials such as laminates, veneers, and finished panels may vary slightly between production batches. Replacement parts or orders placed at different times may not match exactly in color, grain pattern, or sheen. These variations are normal and not considered defects.

Installation Responsibility — SolidHauz is responsible for manufacturing cabinetry according to the order specifications only. SolidHauz is not responsible for installation quality, contractor workmanship, or jobsite conditions. Installation may require normal adjustments such as shimming, scribing, or leveling.

Warranty — SolidHauz provides a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years under normal residential interior use for the original purchaser. The warranty covers replacement of defective parts only and does not include labor costs, installation costs, removal costs, contractor costs, or project delays.

All disputes related to products manufactured or supplied by SolidHauz shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

Refund / Return Policy

All SolidHauz products are custom-made to order based on customer-approved designs, dimensions, and material selections. As such, all sales are final.

SolidHauz does not accept returns, cancellations, or refunds on any custom cabinetry, components, or made-to-order products under any circumstances. Once an order is approved and released into production, it cannot be modified, returned, or canceled, as these products are built specifically for each customer and cannot be restocked or resold.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all designs, specifications, dimensions, and material selections prior to approval. A final order confirmation will be provided, and any changes must be requested within the designated review period. Failure to request changes within this timeframe constitutes full acceptance of the order as submitted.

Refunds will not be issued for reasons including, but not limited to: change of mind; design preferences or aesthetic dissatisfaction; incorrect measurements provided by the customer or third parties; site conditions or installation limitations; delays caused by material availability or project changes.

In the event of a verified manufacturing defect, SolidHauz may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the affected component. This shall be the exclusive remedy, and no refunds will be issued.

By placing an order with SolidHauz, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund / Return Policy.

Shipping Policy

All SolidHauz products are custom-manufactured and shipped directly to the customer, and all delivery dates, timelines, and transit estimates are provided for convenience only and are expressly non-binding. SolidHauz shall not be liable for any delays in shipping or delivery arising from carrier performance, weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, or any circumstances beyond its control. All shipments are deemed complete upon delivery to the designated address, and risk of loss, damage, or delay transfers to the customer upon such delivery.

All large or bulk orders are shipped via third-party freight carriers on pallets and are delivered on a curbside basis only, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible to freight vehicles, including full-size tractor-trailers where applicable. If the carrier is unable to complete delivery due to site constraints or access limitations, the customer shall bear full responsibility for arranging alternate delivery, pickup from a freight terminal, and any associated costs. SolidHauz shall have no liability for failed or incomplete deliveries under such circumstances.

The customer is solely responsible for unloading, handling, inspecting, and safeguarding all goods upon delivery. The customer must inspect all shipments at the time of delivery and document any visible damage or discrepancies with the carrier. Failure to note damage at delivery shall constitute acceptance of the shipment in its delivered condition. SolidHauz must be notified promptly of any claims for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.

Damage to non-visible, concealed, or non-finished areas, including cabinet backs, undersides, or surfaces not visible after installation, shall not be considered a defect and shall not be eligible for repair, replacement, or claim. All packaging materials become the responsibility of the customer upon delivery and must be disposed of at the customer's expense.

The customer assumes full responsibility for all products immediately upon delivery, including responsibility for proper storage, environmental protection, and handling. SolidHauz shall not be liable for any damage resulting from exposure to moisture, temperature fluctuations, physical impact, improper storage, or site conditions. Any errors arising from customer-provided measurements, specifications, approvals, or design selections are the sole responsibility of the customer.

In the event of refused delivery or failed delivery for any reason not attributable to SolidHauz, the customer shall be responsible for all associated costs including return shipping, storage, re-delivery, and additional handling charges. Full payment of such costs shall be required prior to any re-shipment.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SolidHauz expressly disclaims any and all liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to shipping, delivery, damage, delay, or discrepancies. By placing an order and accepting delivery, the customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms of this Shipping Policy in its entirety.
