Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about manufacturing process, materials, pricing, and installation.

Process & Timeline

Complete projects typically require 7-12 weeks from initial consultation to installation. This includes design phase (1-2 weeks), material procurement (2-4 weeks), manufacturing (3-5 weeks), and installation (1-3 days). Timeline varies based on project scope and material availability.

Yes. We provide CAD design services as part of the project scope. Design includes dimensional modeling, material specification, and 3D visualization. Multiple design iterations are included to ensure final approval before manufacturing begins.

Initial consultation includes site visit, dimensional documentation, discussion of functional requirements, and material preferences. Following consultation, we provide preliminary design concepts and project estimate. No obligation for initial meeting.

Yes. Shop visits can be scheduled to view CNC equipment, material samples, and production workflow. This provides transparency into manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.

Materials & Hardware

We offer European high-pressure laminates in various colors and textures, natural wood veneers including domestic and exotic species, and multiple core material options (MDF, particleboard, plywood). All materials are documented with full specifications.

Yes. Physical samples of laminates, veneers, and edge banding can be provided during consultation. This allows evaluation of color, texture, and finish characteristics before final selection.

High-pressure laminate is a manufactured surface with exceptional durability and consistent appearance. Natural wood veneer is real wood sliced thin and applied to engineered substrate, providing authentic grain patterns with some natural variation. Both options offer long-term performance when properly maintained.

We exclusively use Blum® hardware systems including Tandem drawer slides, Aventos lift mechanisms, and Blumotion soft-close technology. These systems provide lifetime performance with adjustment capabilities and are field-serviceable if needed.

Pricing & Payment

Pricing is based on material specifications, cabinet dimensions, hardware selections, and project complexity. Direct-from-manufacturer model eliminates retail markup. Detailed estimates provided after design approval with complete scope documentation.

Project cost includes CAD design services, all materials, CNC manufacturing, hardware installation, cabinet assembly, quality control, delivery, and installation support. Any additional services or site-specific requirements are clearly itemized.

Deposit required upon design approval to begin material procurement. Progress payments align with project milestones. Final payment due upon substantial completion and client approval. Payment schedule detailed in project agreement.

Yes. Workmanship warranty covers manufacturing defects and construction issues. Blum® hardware includes manufacturer warranty. Specific warranty terms provided in project documentation.

Installation & Support

Yes. We coordinate delivery and provide installation support to ensure proper cabinet placement and hardware adjustment. Installation timeline coordinated with client schedule and other trades as required.

Site should have completed wall finish, flooring, and rough plumbing/electrical as applicable. Specific site requirements reviewed during design phase to ensure coordination with installation schedule.

Yes. Existing cabinet removal can be coordinated. Dimensional verification required to ensure new cabinets properly fit existing space and align with current utility locations.

Minor hardware adjustments are normal and included in installation service. European frameless construction includes adjustment capability in hinges and drawer slides. Any issues are addressed promptly.
