Sales & Manufacturing Terms — Scroll to read

These Sales and Manufacturing Terms apply to all cabinetry manufactured and supplied by SolidHauz. By placing an order, approving drawings, or submitting payment, the customer agrees to these terms.

SolidHauz manufactures custom cabinetry based strictly on the specifications entered by the customer through the ordering system. SolidHauz does not verify field measurements, appliance dimensions, or jobsite conditions. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all dimensions, cabinet sizes, and layout specifications entered into the system are accurate and suitable for their installation space.

After an order is placed, SolidHauz will send an order confirmation summarizing the cabinet specifications. Customers have twenty-four (24) hours to review the order confirmation and request corrections via email. If no changes are requested within this review period, the order will be considered fully confirmed and approved for production.

Cabinet Manufacturing Tolerances — SolidHauz cabinets are manufactured using CNC equipment and industry standard cabinetmaking processes. Dimensional tolerances of approximately 1/16 inch to 3/16 inch may occur and are considered normal within the cabinetry industry. These tolerances are not considered manufacturing defects.

CNC Machining Variations — Cabinet components are precision cut and drilled using CNC equipment. Due to part size and hold-down limitations during machining, drilled holes may vary slightly in alignment. In some cases, hole placement may vary by as much as 1/4 inch. Minor adjustments during assembly are normal and expected.

Cabinet Case Materials — Cabinet cases are typically constructed using grey melamine over plywood core. Minor blemishes, scratches, dents, or handling marks may occur during manufacturing or shipping. Cosmetic imperfections on surfaces normally concealed during installation are considered acceptable. Minor scratches or marks on interior surfaces that do not affect structural integrity or function are also considered normal and are not considered defects.

Industry Quality Standard — Minor cosmetic variations, machining tolerances, alignment adjustments, and material inconsistencies that do not affect structural integrity or visible finished surfaces shall be considered acceptable and are not covered under warranty.

Batch and Production Variation — Materials such as laminates, veneers, and finished panels may vary slightly between production batches. Replacement parts or orders placed at different times may not match exactly in color, grain pattern, or sheen. These variations are normal and not considered defects.

Installation Responsibility — SolidHauz is responsible for manufacturing cabinetry according to the order specifications only. SolidHauz is not responsible for installation quality, contractor workmanship, or jobsite conditions. Installation may require normal adjustments such as shimming, scribing, or leveling due to walls or floors that are not perfectly square or level.

Warranty — SolidHauz provides a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years under normal residential interior use for the original purchaser. The warranty covers replacement of defective parts only and does not include labor costs, installation costs, removal costs, contractor costs, or project delays.

Governing Law — All disputes related to products manufactured or supplied by SolidHauz shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
